Caches discovered from detainee information
NINEWAH - Soldiers of 3rd Armored Cav Regt, Task Force Iron, discovered 2 caches next to each other in Ninewah Province Feb. 17 after receiving info from detainees.
The cache included rockets, washing machine timers, a suicide vest, grenades and receivers, as well as magazines for different weapons systems.

MND-B Soldiers seize munitions northwest of Baghdad
BAGHDAD - Feb. 18, Soldiers from Co C, 1st Bn, 14th Inf Regt, 2nd Stryker BCT, 25th ID, acted on a tip from an Iraqi citizen and found the munitions, consisting of two 132 mm, two 105 mm artillery rounds, a 120 mm round, 17 18-pound bombs, two 90 mm artillery rounds, a 30 mm artillery round and 7 speed bump IEDs.
"Finding and destroying these caches continue to degrade terrorist ops," said Maj. Al Hing, a 2nd SBCT spokesperson. "Every operation we execute brings increased security for the Iraqi people."
